Story Synopsis

The following excerpt is taken from The White Room.

Seven wasn’t even her real name.

Her real name was Sarah. But Seven despised that name because she said it was Biblical, and she detested religion—a byproduct of an ultra-conservative father whose beliefs had left scars far deeper than faith.

Molly was starting to feel the Lucy Oil wash over her.

This was definitely a more intense experience than she was accustomed to. The room began to take on a different essence, as if someone had applied a kaleidoscopic prism lens over her eyes and stuffed her ears with cotton.

Fuck this, she thought. I want my baby out of that thing.

If Seven was a ghost, Molly was the priest, and her sole purpose was to exorcise Seven from the soulless vessel of her AVR and bring her safely back into her arms.

The room was very cold, exactly how Seven preferred it when she uplinked, and Molly noticed that her nipples were already hard as she approached her statuesque, motionless body.

Seven was so still that Molly could barely see her breathing.

She looked less like a living woman than a marble corpse.

Molly felt a warm stirring deep within her.

Seven could be so alpha that these were some of the only moments when Molly was allowed to be in control.
